It is with great joy that we come to you this season to say thank you for supporting the ministry of Hearts In Step!
This year has brought great blessings as well as challenges. Our greatest challenge has been the over $15,000 requested for scholarships. In faith, we responded and granted scholarships to many students who would not have been able to continue their Christian dance education otherwise. We believe that lives are being changed both within the classroom and the community as a result of the Hearts In Step ministry.
We are blessed to be able to bring dance to the community through events like Hark Up! the Sunshine Christmas Tea, GEMS Club, Girl Scout meetings, Special Needs Friendship and Pregnancy Resource banquets, and Nursing homes throughout the Grand Rapids area. We do not charge our students to participate in the outreach events and Hearts In Step as an organization assumes the cost incurred for choreography and rehearsal.
As a non profit organization, we make it our goal to keep costs resonable and rely upon the donations of our supporters, both individuals and businesses, to help us meet our mission. Please, prayerfully consider making a 2009 year-end gift to the Step by Step fund so that we may continue to be active within the community and provide scholarship to those in need. We greatly appreciate you and pray that you experience God's peace during this Christmas Season.
