"Hissy - Revival at the Hive" is a ballet based on a children's story about a honey bee (Hissy) who is fed up with the aimless busyness of her hive. While cultivating the precious honey Hissy discovers that many of her fellow bee's have no real respect for the precious treasure that they are the stewards of... So, she sets out to share her honey with the world. Her adventure leads her to many colorful, though somewhat misguided, sometimes downright off, characters who are greatly impacted by Hissy's gift... and Hissy meets the challenges and the despair that comes with stepping out of your comfort zone to follow what you know is to be true and right.

H.I.S. Ensemble and GO! Teams  are the performing outreach division who go out into the community to make a difference through dance. Our students have an opportunity to be mentored and discipled by Godly role models as they dig deeper into God’s Word. Then in turn, they go out into the world and become disciples themselves. Although HIS has approximately 500 students, the Ensemble Group is composed of some of the most advanced dancers who audition to participate.  They attend classes three to five nights per week.  Some of those on the team will go on to pursue professional dance careers.
