Hearts In Step strives to provide an environment where excellence in dance is taught, while developing talent and building Christian character. To this end, all classes include group prayer and devotion time.
Throughout the year a common Bible curriculum is taught to all ages and levels. The year is culminated with a Spring Outreach Performance that is based on the Bible theme of the year. We offer a nine month program running September-May.

TRAINING GROUND DIVISION- HIS Training Ground offers a variety of preschool, primary, and beginning classes. Students, ages three to eight are offered weekly classes in ballet or ballet combo classes and will be provided the technical tools to develop dance skills while encouraging the creativity that God has given to them.  The Training Ground prepares students to move into either elective recreational classes or the Graded Technique division. These students participate in the May Outreach Performance.

GRADED TECHNIQUE- Level I-IV. Students ages eight and above receive excellent training in ballet or our unique balafromojazz classes. Proper technique and body positions are taught, while keeping perspective on the unique and beautiful bodies that God has given to them. Ballet evaluations are held every spring for advancement through the various levels. Levels II and above attend technique classes two to five times per week. Students participate in the May Outreach Performance.

ELECTIVE RECREATIONAL- Elective Recreational classes are for students eight through adult who are just starting out or are interested in taking a variety of classes for fun and exercise. Weekly classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, or Hip Hop may be taken on their own or in addition to Graded Technique classes! Students participate in the May Outreach Performance.

H.I.S. ENSEMBLE-Select students from our Graded Technique divisions Level II-IV make a year long commitment to our ensemble. These students are the performing outreach division who go out into the community to make a difference through dance. Our students have an opportunity to be mentored and discipled by Godly role models as they dig deeper into God’s Word. Then in turn, they go out into the world and become disciples themselves. They perform throughout the year at various events as well as in the original H.I.S.Spring Ballet.

FIT FOR A KING!- Come and relieve stress, tension and fatigue while firming and toning the entire body. Enjoy exercise, friendship, and prayer; strengthening your body and soul. Classes are taught by certified professional instructors.
