The following classes are offered at our North location 2009/2010, located upstairs in the Student Ministry Building at Sunshine Community Church, 3300 E. Beltline NE. Register online here All dancewear may be purchased through Hearts In Step Alger location at the fall Open House.

BALLET (Preschool 3/4yrs, Primary 4/5yrs, Beg 6-8yrs, Beg/Int 9+yrs) $40/month
Learn beginning elements of ballet technique including proper alignment, body positions, locomotor skills, group awareness, self-expression, and ballet vocabulary.  Learn choreography of a lyrical/ballet style for communicating the love of Jesus Christ.

In order to help our students who live North of town, we are now offering a Level II class at our North Campus. This class must be taken in conjunction with a Level II class at our Alger location. Class is by placement only. New time!

HIP-HOP - 8+yrs. $40/month
Learn a style of dance incorporating funky, modest choreography while combining many dance forms.  Get a great workout while learning how to utilize the body's full range of motion with energetic and explosive movements in a non-threatening environment. Clean tennis shoes, modest comfortable clothing, no tummies exposed.

JAZZ - 6-8 yrs. 1.5 hour class  (taken in combination with Beg ballet 4:30-5:30) $60/month
Ballet Students my choose to stay for Jazz class! Jazz isolation, limbering and basic combinations are taught.  This class involves an basic postures, stretches, and fundamental movements of jazz dance and includes warm-up, stretch, floor work, jazz technique, and across-the-floor combinations.  This is for the student new to jazz or one who needs to continue working on basic technique in order to move into the next level.
